Question '03+ Cobra Guys: LFP Performance??

Curious if any of the resident '03+ Cobra drivers/tuners have heard of LFP Performance. As part of some SVT owners group, my mother has been extended a group buy deal on one of their heat exchangers ($299 w/free shipping). Good deal? Are they a reputable company/product?

Description from website:
Part Name: LFP Extreme Performance Heat Exchanger 03-04 Cobra
Desciption: LFP is pleased to announce our latest addition to our 03-04 Ford Cobra performance product line, our new EXTREME performance heat exchanger featuring an unprecedented 18 fin per inch cooling surface and more inches of tube per core than any other heat exchanger on the market making it the most efficient heat exchanger on the market today.

Our LFP Extreme performance intercooler heat exchanger is a direct replacement of stock inefficient exchanger. Producing maximum efficiency and performance. Power is lost when heat is produced. Adding boost to your supercharged 03-04 Cobra also adds power but it adds killing heat. And as the temperatures rise the stock intercooler becomes less and less effective in keeping intercooler fluid temperatures in check. Adding a LFP EXTREME performance intercooler heat exchanger increases fluid capacity and fluid temperatures will drop a constant 35 degrees (approx) thus aiding in the prevention of heat soak.

The LFP EXTREME performance heat exchanger features:
All aluminum tig welded light weight construction
over twice the core size of stock exchanger
18 fins per inch for maximum airflow/maximum cooling
Much larger fluid holding tanks
Furnace brazed eliminating any sealing problem or the need for epoxy
LFP intercooler EXTREME heat exchangers mount in stock position with provided aluminum hangers and rubber mounting bushings. Installation requires basic hand tools and is the only heat exchanger on the market that does not require any cutting or modifications to vehicle to install. 1/2" NPT fitting for drain back is included.

Get Your's Today and Chill Out!!

I know this is something she should look into once she goes with a smaller pulley, but will she see any sort of performance gain at stock boost?

if I were to buy one, I would buy there's. It has been doing well as far as customer satisfaction. Has your mom upped the boost or anything at all?

She is still running the stock pulley. Only mods are the Densecharger and Borla cat-back for now. As far as I know she does want to try a smaller pulley and have Sam tune it eventually down the road.

Besides those 19" wheels, she does nothing for looks on her car. Increasing performance is primary...if it makes the car look better that is secondary.

That's a pretty good price for that unit. If I were doing a HE I'd go with the gordsford unit though.

Heres what it looks like compared to the stocker:

heat exchangers are more for looks, you will not need a larger one if you are just upgrading to a smaller pulley, the lfp unit is a good piece for the money
