Valve train for 5.0
I have a set of Aluminum 5.0 Edelbrock performer heads that use stock style valvetrain. Anybody got any idea where I can get a good roller rocker set and all the hardware that goes with, my block came with no heads and I picked these up a few months ago, finally getting to do some work on the beast now...
I have the springs and valves etc installed, just need the rockers, bolts and related parts.

I need all the parts, new or used doesnt really matter, just need something so I can bolt the heads on. also need teh pushrods.

does your motor have a cam in it? Are you using stock pistons? If you are on stock cam and stock pistons Id go with 1.72 rockers. if you a have mild cam you could get away 1.7 rockers. But best bet is 1.6 rockers. You could probably have scott order parts for you.

The motor is a 92. Right now I have the stock cam/pistons, but am looking to go to a Comp Cams XE-268 or 272. I have a bid on the above pictures, its a set of the crane rockers for a 93' cobra.
I have an AOD with a 2400 stall and a 3.80 locking rear, all going in a 68 Mustang...

I have stock rockes with all of the hardware I'd sell for $25. The ones you're bidding on are the way to go. I got a set of those on Ebay for $150 brand new. Which is the only mod I have done to my motor. They really help with reducing friction and heat in the valvetrain and give you about 40 thousandths more lift and more duration, so it's like adding a small cam without all the work.

Sol93GT, I will let you know if Im not able to get that set of cobra rockers off ebay, I would take the stockers off your hands. Bid ends tomorrow.
