clutch problem
How about CenterForce Dual friction clutch, I ahve heard nothing but great things about there clutches, only thing is they cost 300.00 and dont come with a throwout bearing or install tool, but thst no big deal. So how about it, anyone ever use Centerforce?

We all have had different luck. I destroyed the Centerforce (not dual friction) and a Spec 3. The Spec only lasted about 5,000 miles and was slipping bad. I threw in a King Cobra, as that was what was in my coupe. So far, the KC has out lasted both of the other clutches in my hatch. I don't power shift, but I do dump the clutch with drag radials, around 4000 rpms. I think it has to do with how you drive.
On a side note, I had good hopes for the Spec, as everyone was telling me how good they were.
but it didn't work for me... Maybe one bad one, but I don't think I will invest in their product again.

I went 11.60's with a King Cobra clutch, stock T-5 and leaving with the 2-Step set at 5400. Never had one problem. I agree with OldMan, driving style has a lot to do with it.
I have a FRPP King Cobra and I run a 125 shot with no problems. I had a Valeo "King Cobra" and burned it up in about 4000 miles, or the first time I hit the spray with drag radials at the track. Valeo makes the King Cobra for FRPP, but for whatever reason, the two feel totally different, and I have had no problems. The price difference was $10 at Fordspeed. You may want to think about a clutch quadrant/cable/firewall adjuster set, if you don't have one already. Also, RESURFACE the flywheel and get new throwout bearing. One last thing, are you sure it is your clutch or could it be you T-5? You sound like it may only slip in 3rd gear. Hope this helps, and hope it isn't the T-5.

no i am almost positive it is the clutch due to loosening the cable and the fact it will just spin in any gear with pressure on it. BTW Anyone have a clutch and flywheel for sale i want to possibly do it tonight if anyone has a king cobra and a nice flywheel just layin around
