too small to be pump of any type. Regulators dont have wires.

I am guessing due to its shape it a sensor of some type that goes into the carb.

Hmmm....

Some type of fuel flow safety switch????

thought they made a controller that upped the voltage to the pump that was boost referenced.? more go=more flow. that was gonna be my guess.

It has an output....that means you could just get creative on what you want to do with that output.
Warning light
Kill ignition
boost pump voltage
kick on a second pump
activate fuel noids on a plate kit
Maybe if it had electronic boost controller...dump boost pressure

Lots of things.

Scott...is it just a switch like on and off...or is it more like a 0-5 volt reference from full to empty.

If it was a 0-5 volt setup...you could do alot more than just the above.

Ok, my thing is if you keep on adding all of these electronic gizmos aren't you just trying to make an EFI system?

I mean c'mon, I thought you carb guys were all about simple. You know points and such.

First you put an ELECTRONIC ignition on the car, then an ELECTRONIC boost controller............why not an ELECTRONIC fuel injection???????

If you put any more electronic parts on your car then it will be considered a fuel injected car by us all.

Do you own a Torch Red FRC and tremble every time you drive under I75 on Hwy 60 and look in your rearview mirror? If so you are suffering from what is known as Cobraphobia.
