Default 4R70 to 4R100 ANYONE???

Hey, I know there aren't a whole lot of F150 owners here but, I was wondering since the 4R70 is also used in the mustang, if it is possible to switch to a 4R100 from the 4R70. Seems ford gave me all HD compnents except a transmission. Any help would be good. It's in a 2003 F150 FX4 (4x4) with a 5.4L V-8 and 9.75" rear end and borg warner transfer case if that matters.

Thanks

Since that is the transmission that the Lightnings and Harley Davidsons use. I would say yes!

Yep, from what I understand some of the trucks like mine get a 4R100 and some get a 4R70 just depends. I was wondering if there was a wiring difference between the two ? I know I need the 4R100 Conveter b/c it stalls at 2.20 instead of 1.90 (whatever that means).
