How much is it worth?
I had posted in F4A about a customer/friend dying. Well his son got the car and he said hes afraid to drive it so he wants to sell it. Im a little lost on what it would go for so here it goes
Its 89 GT black with silver stripes, has a harwood 4" cowl hood. Car looked great overall was jus recenlypainted from what we were told as well. We installed new black ACC carpet in it 2 years ago. It has grey SN95 seats, black hatch carpet, and a grant steering wheel. Now onto the serious mods
Engine:
331 Stroker built by Wynnespeed, was around a $5k long block
Standard block
Forged Crank
Forged H beam Rods
Girdle
Brodix Steet R heads with 2.02/1.60 valves
No Name 1.6 roller Rockers
Comp Solid Roller Cam, just a mild one
Trickflow R intake- Black
Trickflow Valve Covers - Black
BBK 70mm Throttle body
42# Injectors
Vortech A trim witha 8-10# pulley
Pro-M 80mm I believe it was
Romac Balancer
Taruas 3.8 Electric Fan
BBK Shorty Headers
BBK O/R H pipe
Flowmaster 2 1/2" catback

Tremec 3550
Billet Steel SFI flyhweel 280z balance
Ram Stage 3 Clutch
Adjustable Clutch Cable
standard treme shifter base with a Pro 5.0 handle
Suspension:
Front is stock springs and regular front struts
Rear is also the same
D&D Performance Upper and Lower Tubular Control Arms
A/C and heat work great on the car,. in fact its a dependable car. Hes driven it to New orleans and back along with driving it a few hundred miles a week. The only bad things I know of are it really in dire need of a better alternator and the front of the Vortech head unit, the seal is leaking oil a little.
I was thinking $10k or so?

$7K tops. Probably more like $6,500, all depending on how clean the car is.

for a clean ass car, he could def get more than 6500 or 7000 for it, but you cant be in a hurry to sell it
there is someone willing to pay that for it, but it has to be immaculent. pay attention to detail, thats what im doing with mine. small shit makes all the diff
and detail it right before you might have a serious buyer, that also makes a world of diff
jsut get a rebuild kit, it cant be that expensive i dont think. mars, you could have that shit done in no time. and the alternator, get a 94/95 from advanced auto. its like 140 bucks or so and then you can honestly say its perfect

It would also depend on the miles on the car, too. It would definitely be worth more if it had low miles, but doesn't sound like it. $7000 sounds low, but you would have to sit on it awhile.

Gotta remember that it is an 89 gt, if it was an lx then I would say a $1k or so higher (closer to $2k for a notch).
