I originally had my 351 bored .40 over untill last summer when i blew a rod... now a bit of damage was done to the block yet it could be salvaged with a .60 bore and I have been driving like this everyday since in absolutely the most brutal temperatures and lead foot adventures and I have not had a single problem with it. Now I dont know if others have been as fortuneate but I have nothing negative to say about a .60 bore on a 351 from my experience

Right now I'm building a new motor, the last one was a 351/.40 over with forged flat tops and AFR205's.The new one is a Dart 408 with Hi-ports and eventually a turbo. Are you the guy that ran Zac in the LS1?If you are nice car, sounds good! What's done to it,if you don't mind me asking?

Yea thats most likely me... forget the guys name but has a nice Z28. Well I have a pair of 170 heads and an aluminum intake, its a really strong motor thats tuned down for the time being... rebuilt all my internals last summer, in a few weeks when i get some slicks i'll tune it back up and see if more people would like to run her. Its surprisingly strong and its all motor... I recently raced a 70 mach 1 with a 408 stroker and victor jr heads and i took him pretty easily.

And im glad you like it, thanks for the compliments... as far as the sound of my car goes I get hated on sometimes because a lot of people believe that glasspacks are the worst thing in the world.. but hey my car is just old school muscle so if you dont like glasspacks try listening to my car idle and tell me it doesnt make the hair on the back of your neck stand up.
