In defense to the independent rear.....

I did pretty good with my stock IRS. No bolt ons just Nittos, H&R springs and raw power !! At best, I yanked a 60 foot of 1.74

Thanks, I think... Do I know you ?

One other thing, I can't complain about the IRS' ride quality. Beats having your car rattling and squeaking down the road.

Someone snag this IRS ! I would if I had a solid axle Mustang

Yes mamm,Bryan. And yes the ride quaility is much better...but I don't think that's a concern with the swap.

Yes ride quality is better, but 1.7's aren't gonna cut it at the track. Those cars can do so much better. Someday I hope to have one...... Then I'll be King of all that drive!!!! OOPS, I already am, in Georgia anyway. I plan on conquering Tampa sometime in mid 05. I hear Tampa's tough though. I guess I will see.

If your car makes 1500 to the wheels you shouldn't worry too much about anyone in Tampa,on the street that is.At the track, well, there's always someone faster.LOL.

1.7's will cut it for some ppl and I too pulled a 1.7 shortime with IRS, but when you get serious you need something else..this would be perfect for a GT or Mach wanting to autocross or with mild bolt on's
