I have researched which ones are available for my truck and came up with these two as possible. What are you guys thoguhts on em or if you know of another that would be better.

 

The predator is ok but since it has preprogrammed programs you can't really tune the car. Diablo is guessing on what the parameters should be on the mods done. So you really don't know what the a/f is. Any multiple program chip with a custom tune w/ a/f is the best way to go. Either Diablo chip, Superchip, Autologic, etc. I have any old chip(autologic) and it has 4 different programs you can custom tune. Hope this helps. -Mark

 

Thank, basically i wanna be able to kill the speed limiter and be able to adjust the shift points. Both the Superchips and Diablo allow it and have ste tune for a factory truck with no mods. Just never used either. Only chip I had was an old jet chips in my old ranger.

 

I'd say Diablo or the Hypertech are worth looking at. Cool thing about the Diablo, as Dave mentioned, is you have a local tuner who can help you out should you have any issues.

what are you talking about? you can asjust damn near everything with a predator, and if you cant adjust it on the predator you can use a laptop and make a custom tune and load it into the predator then into the ECU. i do agree on the part of Diablo guessing on the preloaded tune though.
