Do i need to remove my center console? Black interior is hard to come by and with my luck, ill end up snapping a plastic peice in the process.

yea its not that hard though Donnie and you shouldnt snap anything, ive had mine off a few times

You gotta remove the bezel around the shifter and take those 2 screws out
Remove the center console, pop off the side covers, there is 4 8mm bolts
Under neath that is 2 T25 torx screws, take those out
pull the console up, disconnect the power mirror switch and cigarette lighter

I still havent found the fucking nut to adjust it up though

I thought you could ajust it from the point where the 2 cables are joined into one. Maybe I am mistaken...been a long ass time since I have ventured under a Fox. I do know for a fact that the handle has a point where you can put more tension on the cable...did that to Alan's SVO for him.
