Default mass air conversion ? need help

i have a 93 stang 4 cyl auto with mass air, getting ready to swap it out and put a 5.0 in it , can i use the mass air harness from the 4cyl? or do i need to get a new sensor and harness, the 5.0 is out of a speed density car. also i have the harness out of the 5.0 if i need it.

Default conversion

you cannot use a speed density harness to convert a 93 4-cylinder to a v-8, you must use a 93 v-8 computer harness, you can use a v-8 computer from 89-93 , you can use a mass air from 89-93, o2 harness from 87-93, injector harness from 86-93...but you MUST use a 93 V-8 computer harness for it to work right

nope...the speed density harnesses use a gray and black connector to connect to the dash harness, if you look at your car, under the hood somewhere around the brake booster there will be a single orange plug that connects your pcm harness to your dash harness...that is what makes them different, the 93 uses a single orange plug, a 92 uses an orange and a grey i think, a 90 and 91 uses a black and grey(lkike the 87-89) but a 90 harness has airbag sensors in it, the 89 has a black and grey plug, no air bag sensor connectors, and mass air plug, 87-88 have the black and grey connectors, no air bag sensor connectors, and no mass air connector...you MUST use a 1993 harness only to work in your car
