Scott dont blow your shit up to prove a point to your self. Almost all cars that blow up, blow up in the last 250 feet of the track. If the car wont go 1320 dont take it 1320. My ride has only gone 400 feet so far under load. Get it right and then run it. Sucks to see the guts of your motor on the track and have to here "Tower side will be shut down all night", I have heard that before (My bad). Is the R-Block in. Looks like you have a 9 second ride on your hands. Have you thought of running alcohol injection or water injection. I think that pump gas is gunna melt your motor .

All in all, nice runs and keep em coming when you get the converter right, or move the limiter up (if the motor can take it).

Move the limited up to about 7k, you'll probably go through the traps lower than that (probably 6700 or so) which the motor should be able to handle without issue. First thing to go on a stock 302 will be the valve springs, you obviously don't have those on any more so I'd let it ride @ 7k.
