Default Ford 5.4L 2V motor

I'm considering a Ford F 150 FX4, it's a 2003 with a 5.4L SOHC motor. Can anyone point me in the direction of mods for this motor??? I mean, Good headers, exhaust, heads, cams, etc. I know the Chevy 5.3 has a great deal out there for it so it's a toss up between the two.

Convert it to a blower set up. I.E. lightning blower set-up.

Brandon, already went there, this truck is a deal from a friend that used to own sarasota ford. It was taken on trade and I'm getting it well under blue book. BTW I saw your bosses GT at the hard rock last night. If you can do a car fax, I forgot to ask him for it but he said it was a clean truck but I still want a second look.

i say if you want a good running truck put a vortech supercharger on it and it will be anything you will ever need. possibly a nice exhaust to compliment the forced induction and guive it a nice exhaust note.

You are probably right on that one. Because if he wanted something really fast he would of chose a diffent platform.

yep...I wanted 4wd and no one makes fast 4wd trucks (excluding diesels). I'd be happy with 375 RWHP. I think it is quite easy to reach that goal considering a vortech adds almost 100 rwhp on its on. so going from ~200 RWHP to 300 RWHP on a stock engine, add exhuast, headers, maybe some cams and heads vola. Thanks for the help guys. Any good places to start with a stock dyno????
