Default Radiator

Well with my new setup it seems as though my radiator is just inadequate to cool the car back down once it gets warmed up.

I think a stock radiator that was clean and didn't have a bunch of deposits stuck inside of it would do the trick, but I'd like to get something a little better. I was wondering what some "thrifty" options were to get myself a new radiator that can handle roughly 300rwhp.

I heard autozone has 2 cores for a descent price, but I havn't called yet. Any other options?

Thanks.

Do you own a Torch Red FRC and tremble every time you drive under I75 on Hwy 60 and look in your rearview mirror? If so you are suffering from what is known as Cobraphobia.

I looked at the Pep Boys 3 core for my last car but it was too thick to clear my supercharger. I ended up just getting their $99 stock replacement and never had a bit of cooling problems runing 425-450 hp. A good electric fan and maybe some Red Line water wetter or Purple Ice will go a long way to bring the temps down too.

I really appreciate all the responses. Looks like I have quite a few options so I'll decide in the next couple days.

What ratio of coolant/water do you all run in your cars? And how much water wetter or purple ice do you use?
