Cobra Black interior in a fox?
Ok I've heard alot of ppl say that they have a "Cobra" black interior, What the shit does this mean?
for a foxbody theres only one black interior with Leather,"sport"cloth, and 4banger cloth seats
somebody explain this "Cobra" interior to me
does this just mean they got Tilt steering?

No it means they are an idiot. There is no such thing as a "cobra" interior for a fox.
Hell, for that matter I really love it when people say they have a "cobra" shortblock! The only difference is the cam. Wow, that really makes a shortblock.
There are really very few cobra specific parts. Most were raided from other cars to make the 93 cobra.

Interestingly I have seen the same statement in quite a few classified ads. I think they just put "Cobra interior" to justify a higher price to people who don't know any better. Black Cobra interior was really no different from that of the GT.

I meant the cam in a cobra engine isnt even as great as a normal H.O. cam.
93blocks are hyper pistons even worse with the cobra cam.
87-90 had the hottest Cam I believe
91-92 were identical

www.stangparts.com is the only "junkyard" I would think has black interior and they aren't cheap. I seriously doubt you'd find black interior at a local U-wrench-It.
My suggestion is to buy the black dash, door panels, seats, and other high wear areas. Dye the remainder of your interior black using a high quality dye. You may actually be better off finding a local interior shop to recover your seats, depending on how much genuine black seats cost.
We spent way too much money purchasing genuine black interior parts for my old '87. If I did it over again, I would have dyed the parts that do not get much wear.
