Question alternator question

Does a 94' Mustang alternator fit on an 89' Mustang-Fox Body? I've heard it does. Is this true? I was told it's a 100amp alt. instead of the usual 75amp. Anyone know anything about this? Thanx for any info!

it's a 140 amp vs. a 75 amp. and you have to change a few things it's not quite plug and play go to corall.net(sp) and do a search there.

its really not hard at all.

ive got that alt in my 91. it takes a lil wiring, butt connectors is all i needed and a female end connector.

you are going to need to grind down the bracket that holds the alt in. when you test fit it, youll see. its 30 sec worth of grinding at most really
