I need to know if injectors out of a 96 GT will work on my 88 GT. The guy also said that he had them installed by Saleen, and that they were Ford injectors. Does this mean they are penacle style? I know I want to stay away from them if they are'nt. Thanks

 

I'm pretty sure that they are interchangeable.

Do you know what color they are? Are they the stock injectors (19lb injectors) from the GT? I wouldn't think Saleen would install stock injectors on a car....Regardless knowing the color can say a lot about the injector size, etc.

 

They are Blue. So I assume that they are Ford Motorsports. They are 24lb injectors.

 

They say this on them: F1TE-D5A

 

They should be interchangeable like Andrew said.

 

Ok cool then I will go ahead and get them. They have like 30K on them and they are 4 year old. Does 75 sound like a good deal. they should be good to go if I get them cleaned.

 

75 is a deal if they are in good working order. I paid $100 for my 30s.

 

yep 75 shipped to my door and I got pics of them. They look like brand spankin new.

 

Almost all injectors are interchangable. Only a few companies used funny injectors (the cobra motors).
