as for the Taurus, I saw the new 500 when going over the details of picking up the wife's new hauler this past week. Didn't get a chance to look too close, but looks much nicer than the Taurus...

Yeah it comes with a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), basically it monitors your speed to give you power when you need it. Basically it has two pulleys and a chaind drive.
