Default Susprise!!! (and a question)

hey all... been kinda absent as of late due to the fact that there have been other things taking up my time... but just picked up a project car this past weekend so I'll probably be around a bit more often now

BTW - does anyone know a safe and easy way to remove automotive paint? The people that painted this car decided to paint right over the buck tag, so I have no way of reading off the paint/trim codes.

Put a 4V Cobra motor in it! Good to hear from you. How are things on the home front?

Not bad I guess.... other than too many things to do without the right amount of time

Funny note on the car... The 302 that is in it was running kinda rough (specially under load) when I test drove it and brought it home, but since I was going to be tearing it down, I didn't really pay it that much mind. The guy selling the car told me that it ran good, but a little rough.. so I just took his word for it. It sounded pretty good plus it wasn't blowing any smoke so....

The other day while rooting around under the hood, I was checking the plug wires and found that #4 was dangling and not even on the plug. So I put it back on and fired it up... well whattayaknow... runs like a champ now!

But if it takes the lettering off then I am no worse off than I am now
