it wont be a cat 5 when it hits us.. cuba will slow it down, there are upper level winds right after it hits cuba which has the possability to basically blow the top of the hurricane (i dont see this happning) but i doubt itll be any higher then a 3 when it hits us.

 

Any sort of direct or close hit is going to royally fuck Tampa. You saw what happened when a mere tropical storm hit the area. Imagine what happens when something much more powerful rolls through.
