looks good what is that a T-trim? What made you choose Vortech over ProCharger? What size injectors and pump.

255 in-tank and 42lb injectors. Vortech is known to be much more reliable in general than almost any other aftermarket blower. This kit that was for sale had a few nice bells and whistles that I liked.

A S trim is still a strong blower, I have scene a bunch of them from 9 sec 1/4's. But I have to stop you when it comes to the reliable blower issue. I have personally owned 3 Vortech and 2 ProChargers. Two of the Vortechs got rebuilt, and still the bearings sounded loose. The prochargers never failed me, EVER. I do like Vortechs. I wouln't by another one, but I dont hate them. In NMRA Outlaw racing, there is a 50 car field. About 15 are turbos, 10 anr NOS, and 25 blower cars. There was "ONE" Vortech car in the field (Paul Davis). He ran a Z-trim Mondo. He blew up the first one and luckly Eric from Vortech was there. He got another Z shipped in and after one pass he blew that one up too. He has now bolted on a F3 Procharger and runs 7.86 1/4.

Like I say, Im not trying to bash Vortech's. My race had one on it 5 months ago. But ProCharger has the lock on making Mega Power and making it last. Anyone can make a 8 psi blower last, try it with a 17 psi blower.

When you the car running take it to the dyno, make sure your not running out of fine line on the top. S trims make alot of boost, and that cooler gets real fuel greedy up top. When you pop a head gasket, use Cometic gaskets. Awsome for blower cars.

I did quite a bit of asking around, and as far as passenger side intercooled setups, people seemed to favor the vortech. Ive known people with them as well with good luck. Maybe we we talk about street cars vs. all out race cars, its two different stories?

I expect to pop these head gaskets Ive blown them on stock cars before, so I would be surprised if this lasted very long. My friend put cometics on his turbo car after he popped his stockers, and so far so good

Those cometics are awsome. I have copper, but know people who love them. You pull them out, clean them and put them back .

Short blower story. I had a 91 hatch with a vortech and a 150 shot back in 93. Ran 11.60 @ 118. Race a buddy with a coupe with exhaust and a 14 psi ProC. He packed my ass. Story goes on I bought a 89 vert (3900 lbs), ran 15.99 with exhaust and edlebrock heads. It was a pig. I bolted on a 17 psi Pro-C and 30 lbs inj and ran 11.50 @121. 4.5 sec improvement. Thats when i fell in love with pro-c.

Man. In 94, I ran a completely stock 90lx w/ only a 125 shot. 12.1ish. Your right, I would have expected more than 20hp or so out of a power adder. Maybe something else was out whack?
