'cmon ford guys
i have a '66 stang in good orignal shape. i want a tachometer but don't want to stray from factory stuff. so for my year the only way it would have a tach is if it had a "rally pack" so i need to find a tach from one of these cars......any ideas?

Yea, it is the same thing across the board. I know of a guy restoring a 70 GTX and he has a similar problem. He wanted to put a Tick-Tock Tach in his car and the broken ones are going for $350!
Good Luck...

www.car-part.com has a few 66 stangs in it. If you search for speedometer there's a big list of places with full dashes etc. Maybe one of those places has one with a tach. Just a suggestion

What do you expect for an original 38 year old tach? They've got to be getting rare by now. Especially since they were an option to start with (and probably an uncommon one at that).

Bummer! Trade the car for a '69 Mach I. I have a tach/speedo cluster out in the garage for that.

'66 isn't going anywhere.
