Well, LXs came equipped with 5.0Ls, too. For starters you will want the same year wiring harness as the car as there were color changes made in the wiring from '89 to '91 as far as I know. If the car wasn't hacked up then the wiring should just plug right back in there without problems. What are all the specs on the motor? What year block is the 351W? That's important so you choose the correct intake for the deck height. I wouldn't count on that T-5 living very long if you beat on the car a lot. If the motor is really torquey then you'll snap that T-5 like a twig.

hmmm...maybe ill just spray it. ill try to find out more info on the motor aswell. only reason i wanted to go efi was to do a turbo setup, but i dont mind spray either. and i made a typo, its a 92lx. i've heard florida weather makes it a bit of a pain to tune a carb though, and i honestly dont know the 1st damn thing about them other than some minor basics.

Why don't you go with an aftermarket EFI? Companies like Edelbrock offer complete kits with carburator style intake manifolds. I would think this would be a much simpler and perhaps even cheaper route to take compared to going back to an OEM EFI setup.

Im going to beat Scott to the punch here and tell you that you can do a turbo setup with the carb ...but EFI is better! (Gotcha Scott!)
