Default bent pushrod

I went down to sunshine wednesday and on my 3rd pass i pulled to about 5200-5400 rpms 1st and 2nd, and just got it into 3rd. i just let it coast to slow down. The car slowly died by the time i got to the last turn off. The car would start again, but had a really hard time keepin its idle. I got it towed home then did a compression test. Cyl #2 had no compression at all, but all the others where all within 10 psi of eachother. I originally thought i bent a valve cuz i got stock springs with ported e7's.i pull the valve cover today and the pushrod is just sticking out the side of the rocker . I was just wondering if anything else could have been damage from this?

WHOA CHECK A PISTON!!!!! dude if it did that that means could be alot of other things.... milled to low and hit a piston making the rocker go back and hit the rod OR could of floated a lil caught it off beat and BAM hit the rocker hard to say Id say look at your piston bro

Yep - if the pushrod was bent and that was it - then you would have compression because the valve would be closed.. Ive never seen a bent pushrod without its "little buddy" - Bent Valve.

Sorry man.

I did do a compression test. NO compression at all in that cylinder. so pulling the head is a must, and i guess while its off ill get some spirngs on there. Any idea on good springs? I was looking at comp cam, but theres so many to choose from. Double springs needed for juts a e303?

-thanks

For stock heads, GT-40 and P heads, get this TFS kit from Summit, $129.99. I have used this kit several times and I also run the E-303.
