i own a 96 ford cobra. i was wondering how hard it would be or if it was even be possible to install a 2003 or 04 supercharger on my car?if this is a dumbass question sorry about it. i have no clue though?

 

The heads are different from 96-98 and 99+. So, I think you would have to swap the heads to put the s/c from an 03/04 on. Im sure there are other small differences but I dont know them.....

 

different heads: well if i bought 99+ heads would the heads fit right on there then?

 

the heads are actually designed and the castings are indentical but the 99+ heads have a different sized cumbustion chamber.

so, i think a 03/04 cobra blower would fit just fine but you would have to modify the drive belt to make it perform correctly cause the pulley arrangement is different.

 

jus buy a vortech.... much easier!
