Exclamation mustang needs HELP!

ok, strait to the point. i got a mustang. moved here 2 months ago and now a huge hurricane is comin. im in tampa and thats where its comin to. my car is a convertible. what do i do? i have no garage. only a carport. so i went and rented a storage unit. but the damn thing is at public storage and the whole place is aluminum. what do i do? will it hold up? should i just drive it to orlando? does anybody have any extra garage space? what do i do? ive put too much money into my car for shit like this to happen. and i know i have car insurance, but. on the books my car is only worth $3,000. and i know i could easily get $8000 for it. so having insurance helps none. anybody got any suggestions or help for me?

I'm sure it would do fine under a carport. If you are in a flood zone, I'd hightail it out of here to a hotel in at least Brandon or Lakeland.

Park it at Tampa airport. Overnight parking can't be that much, plus that thing has to be able to withstand just about anything b/c of building codes/requirments alone. Also it will be out of the rain totally.

Edit-TR MEET AT TIA TOMMOROW AT NOONE

no! dont post it there! ill be pissed if i get there and theres no spots left. i can see it now. lol. or even alot of the local malls or even the hard rock casino. all have the same kind of parking garages. even at the mall. i would never usually take my car to the mall, but hell. ill come get it when the storm is over and its not like anybody is gonna be there when there is a hurricane going on.

You might end up donating your wheels and emblems to the local hood rats.
