Default Southside lower control arm install

well i purchased a set of southside lower control arms the other day with all the hardware and brackets needed to complete the install. i know how to install them and i know im going to have to set my pinon angle but as im reading the instructions(first time EVAR!) they state that i have to remove my quad shocks and discard them cause i will not ned them.

WTF are quad shocks? do i have to remove my lakewood 50/50's?? what the hell are they talking about?

Your 50/50s and the quad shocks are 2 different parts. You will still need the Lakewoods. The control arms are horizontal like the quads and make them unnecessary. The regular shocks are still needed to absorb vertical movement.

take your rear tire off, and look right behind the caliper, you'll be staring at the quad shock then!

there are 4 shocks on a stang rear end, the quad shocks are only about a foot long and run front to back instead of up and down........

just look behind your rear tires with or without the tire being there and i dont think you can miss them unless someone has taken them off already........ and sn95's do have them........
