9mm ford wires are $79.95 from Automotive Engineering, new MSD 4-Tower blaster coil packs are $99.00 each, you need 2 BTY, or you can try my old coil packs cause they are stil good and see if that fix's the problem. you still have the stock plug wires and im not sure if you ever changed the plug's or not so that might be something to look into.

If you have a multimeter then test the wires that are on the car now. For most cars there shouldn't be less than 500 ohms per foot. If the car is daily driven and not going to see any major power increases anytime soon then parts store wire sets will do just fine. Most of them have a lifetime warranty so if one wire gets messed up you can get it replaced for free. Just as James stated earlier an exposed cone filter will be suseptable to fan wash whether belt driven or electrical. Get a can of CRC Electrical Contact cleaner spray from Discount Auto and remove the sensor from the mass air meter housing. Spray it off. Gunked up/dirty MAF sensor filaments can also cause the condition you're experiencing.

New oxygen sensors make a world of difference (especially on high mileage cars).
