Make it faster, then make it pretty
$500 bones can get you some pretty decent stuff on that car.

no, function before form..........do what TheShow said and run a little nitrous into it, that'll wake it up a bit
body parts=slow you down by adding weight
bigger wheels=slow your bottom end due to more rotational mass
nitrous or other power adder=will actually make your car faster and not just look like another import wannabe that makes the car look "mad tite yo" but has nothing under the hood to back it up

Actually the European "RS" bumpers will help with the "go" since they reduce weight. However if you get in an accident where either the front or back bumper are involved your insurance company may choose not to cover you since any European rear bumper requires removal of either the re-bar or the crash foam. I think the front requires a bit of modification to the US rebar as well.
Nitrous isn't a bad idea, just make sure you don't throw a dry kit on it. Definately opt for a wet kit. You'll need someone to weld on a schrader valve to the end of the fuel rail to do it properly. I'm betting Sam would be able to help out out with a nice Nitrous setup with a chip able to mess with timing and fuel delivery on the motor both on and off the bottle.
BTW...I did reply to your email regarding the B&M shifter. Let me know what you want to do.
