I'm looking to find the best place to buy race gas. I just want some like 104 octane. I'm not to familiar with the names they use either. If someone could clear that up for me to that would be great. Thanks

 

first off it's race fuel, gas is what you put in your every day driver.
there's a place on 66th that sells it, right by sherman williams, can't remember the name of the place for the life of me though. THey have 104. Also, why the need for the extra octane? If you haven't bumped compression or aren't running some sort of power adder it'll just slow you down..(unless you adjust your timing to compensate)..

 

I've got the timing bumped way up and I'm running nitrous. So I have every need for it. Why not run it if will help out.

 

call Sam at coastal dyno.. IIRC he has 114 on tap

 

There is a Sunoco gas station on Hercules in Clearwater. It's right before the RR tracks near need for speed. But it's only 100 octane. -Mark
