Default cams

I just got my heads(e7s) back today. got a valve job and ported a polished for a price i couldnt refuse. Anyways with my ported heads i was thinking of adding a cam to get the most power out of my newly ported heads. other the fenderwell and headers the cars stock. Just wondering how much lift and duration there should be for a good idle and still get the power im looking for. and if it matters what brand and should i go with a new or used cam?

thanks

i would go with the trick flow stage 1, and you cant beat the price!
139.00 at summit. it has a .499/.510 lift and 221/225 duration. and its not to big where you have to get your pistons cut.
rpm range is from 2000 - 5500 .
