iNTAKE USELESS??
I hear from other gt owners that intakes are useless. That i should just buy a K&N filter and remove the filter silencer. Are intakes useless and should i just buy the K&N filter and remover the silencer?

Throwing the filter in the fender can't hurt, but I doubt it would give you huge performance gains over the K&N w/removed silencer. Just do a cost comparison between the two options and see which better fits into your budget.

if you get a used one cheap get the intake one, another problem is that most of the after market ones are nice an shinny, all that does is get hot while your driving around, screw that, get the plastic moroso one, but yes i agree with alan.

no no no no no,
for the mod motors, ( and really any car that has a MAF on it) putting a fenderwell CAI on it can actually HURT your HP levels because it puts a 90* bend right in front of the MAF throwing the reading off costing HP
if you want a CAI that makes power you need to dish out the bucks and get a Densecharger or an Anderson Power pipe,
those MAC and BBK kits may look good, but they will cost you power
get a K&N cone filter to replace the stock one, and take out that little rubber snorkle from the filter housing and be done with it
