Is this a street car? If so, I wouldn't recommend a spool. You can get a diff from a late model F-150, ranger, or exploder, as some of them used a 31 spline trac-loc. Beware though that the outside diameter of the diff is the same, so since the inside is bigger for the larger axles, you'll have less clutch area so the diff won't grip as good. This will also negate the C-clip eliminator kit as well.

 

Yeah, a spool will work for track only. From what I understand, there is a special bearing set when using a spool. I have one that I got with a car, if it turns out you need it, I'll let it go cheap. Its still sealed.

 

hey dave (its Todd)yeah he'll need the Coupe's spool bearing I sold to ya with the car..I wasnt even thinking..but no biggie..Is it running yet ? Ill bet its nasty. God i miss it but oh well. Keep me posted on it ok..Oh yeah if you need a 4.30 gear let me know..Ill let it go cheap..
