no but I did get a warning
The cop was cool as hell, only had me for 5 minutes while he ran my license and wrote the warning. It was funny, As I was sitting at the light at 54 waiting to turn left, the guy in the Lincoln says "hey man, do you know your running lights aren't working" and I said "yeah, and I'm about to get pulled over for it too" since the cop had made the U-turn and was right behind me
FYI to everyone else, I cut an old alarm out of the car this week and for some reason the rear running lights aren't working but the fronts are. There are a couple of wires in the harness I didn't reattach so I'm sure its one of those.
FYI#2, ask Mars how good my car pulls in 4th gear

yeah, you got me by a couple of cars mainly on the 1-2 shift. Were you powershifting? I wasn't, not sure why. That's the wrong turbo for the car. I think with a stock turbo at 18lbs (what I'm running currently) I'd be faster than I am now. The reason it runs so hard in 4th is because it stays in the sweet spot from 3500 to 5k so long. Its still a fun car and I've got some other stuff up my sleeve, but it was a really fun run
What's done to the 302? I run into theolder fox 5 liters on the street alot and from a stop they can be a serious pia.

He's got ported stock heads, GT40intake, cam, exhaust, gear etc.
I'm running 18lbs with a T4/T3 turbo, ported head but stock intake and exhaust manifolds.
I'll be out more often now that the car is finally squared away. I'll just be busy the next 2 weekends though

I'd like to have a run at the hybrid 2.3 turbo car sometime. What kind of set up are you using on the intercooler?

Im trying to remember though if I finally started pulling you in 4th on tyhe first run before you shifted early to 5th and then I went by you. No I never power shift, I just shift pretty fast.

No dumping, just quick jab at the gas while releasing clutch at the same time.

That car definitely got the holeshot. I probaly could've left harder than I did. It just used to skate all around with the 16's but with the wider 17's it sticks pretty good. I'm sure we'll have more runs
