What would you guys suggest on lifters to purchase,I've looked at Comps and Crane. Also I can't run a shaft mount rocker system with my heads,so any suggestions on high HP/RPM bolt downs would be appreciated. Thanks

How many rpms do you plan to spin to? What is the closed and open spring pressures?

Solid or hyd?

Why cant you use shaft mounts with your heads?

we just put crane gold race,(with out stud girdles for some reason) on a friend motor. i was impressed with how they are built and how easy they installed. took a while, however since its fuel injected, i like to take the time to double check and make sure not to leave them too loose since you cant get the valve covers off with the upper intake on.

i also have used dove 1.6 rockers and like the crane alot more.

Iwas reading on there website that AFR heads won't accept shaft mount systems, maybe I'm wrong,I'll look in to it some more. It's solid roller, and I would say a conservative 7,000,not looking to spin the hell out of it,won't half to.I will be getting new springs with the cam so not to sure about the spring press.yet.Sorry but I'm just in a fucking mess and don't know what to do,do I do this do I need that...URRRRR and the fucking guys on the tech line don't know the ass from a hole in the ground, thats if I get a hold of any one.

What kind of heads are they exactly. Ill ask Brandon if he knows of any trick for doing a shaft mount or modding them to accept shaft mounts. I know he has said that many of the race heads he used to do were machined to accept the good stuff.
