They sell special bits that are specifically designed for that. Some auto parts stores carry them, but your best bet is Sears.

EaseOut.. or Easy Out... they are like a inverted drill bit.. You grab the right size that fits in the head of the screw(bolt) and you tap in in with a hammer.. its left hand thread to the more you turn it... the more pressure you put to remove said screw(bolt)... hope that helps...
