Default Tranny Application

I was hoping i can get everyones .02. I building a 351W Now i just ordered all the parts and i am sending it off to machine shop this weekend. My question is what tranny i should run right now i have a c6, I want to get all that power to the ground i am shootin for around 400-430Hp/400-450Tq in a truck, Any Suggestions on a tranny, keep the c6 or get something else?

I also wanted to ask about a good machine shop, I was told nelson brothers are good??

i had a c6 in my stang for years, robbed a little power, not too much though and is built like a tank. go with the c6 because you have it and replace it with a c-4 if you ever blow it apart, chance are you cant grenade that c6.

Ok then next question is i wanted to find a tranny shop that can open it up give it a run through maybe beef it up, Any suggestions?

well crt didnt built it, they did my c-4, the c6 was used and abused from 1997-2004 without any probs whatsoever. and is now going in my friends ranger

Awesome, Do you know how much power you were running through it? I am concerned about reliability and durability cause i want it to last.
