Default question on exhaust

hey... i just got rid of my 91 lx. and bought a 94 gt.. its bone stock right now and i about to redo the headers and back.... Heard that the pro chamber flowmaster is really good.. but is it really worth all the extra money when i can get a x-pipe for about half the price

In my personal opinion, I don't feel there's much difference. I have had the H, X, and the Pro Chamber on my fox body cars. I really didn't see any performance difference between them. I do think the H pipe has a better sound and that the pro chamber makes more noise inside the cabin during normal driving, but again, that is just my opinion.

goto www.mustangexhaust.com and check out all the tech support and sound clips they have. its a kick ass web site for people with ?'s just like yours.

in my personal opinion i would never put a x-pipe on a 2v motor cause it sounds like marbles rolling around in the exhaust. buts its all up to you.

go with the h on a 95...........sounds better.....x pipe sounds better on a mod motor!
my 95 with h pipe sounded awesome
plus an h pipe is much cheaper, easier to install
and then there's the fact that you lose torque down low with an x pipe traded off for higher hp at higher rpm with a 5.0 (which you don't benefit from with a fairly stock 302)

They all make similiar numbers on the dyno, +/- 3 so go for sound,Dr.Gas X,BBK H or Pro chamber are all good choices.
