its less than 2000rpm of actual powerband due to the lag and his SAE correction factors have been questioned as it might have still been more than the other stock block record holders (539 and 544 with enthalpy and enjuku, respectively), but it is thought that it wasnt an actual 602whp pull. still impressive i guess.

twin charging has been around for a little while. there was a 1st generation mr2 with the 4ag-ze motor that comes supercharged stock...and they added a turbo to it. it was a quick little bugger. however, my take on twin charging is that with the tuning capabilities and potential of so many stock blocks because of said pioneering in the tuning fields, it would be easier to tune tune tune, then spend the money on building the motor rather than trying to throw more power adders on it.

its actually kinda simple... roots supercharger is pulley driven and attaches to intake.. turbo set ups (single and twin) run off of exhaust gas and by attaching intercooler tubing to both the intake and supercharger you can run them in a sort of inline way.. hard part is having a bottom end that will handle it..

If you want to be impressed by a 4 banger, look up Dave from Tiny Avenger. He's took a 1985.5 'stang SVO w/ 100,000 miles and did relatively minor upgrades and is pushing 412 rwhp. Plus its a daily driver!! I call that shock'n'awe.
Have you ever talk to dave before?
