i hate old people.. 75 year old ran a red light and drilled my front right side. right by the 5.0 emblum(90 5.0 gt). whole passenger side door is fuckd and all around the wheel drum. i think the front strut got bent to shit and the frame looked a little off. its possibly totalled. i really hope its not though It got towed and the insurance guy is gonig to take a look at it for a quote tomorrow. any one know of a very expensive place to get a quote from and a cheaper place to get repairs done at. i wanna get the highest possible quote and get it fixed for as little as possible, but it still being a good job. hopefully i dont get screwed over on this, and make some extra cash. if u know ne places post them plzz thanks alot .

 

If the frame is bent with such significant damage like you say .. there's almost a certainty that it's going to get totalled.

when i got in my hit and run, James Auto Body off of 19 in Palm Harbor is where i went to take it.

talked to him and he said the quote wont mean jack shit to the insurance company.

the adjuster will tell you what they think.

fuck mee. i think its really iffy that it totalled. the door just got slammed. i just think it was that, that was bent. i really hope its not totalled cuz the book on my car is 3800, and the cop said someshit that i would only get 80% of the book? so id be out a solid grand since i payed 4300 for it. what i great day...

 

after i did a ton of my shit i got my car appraised.

it was worth 9500 2 years ago. that was before i did a whole lot more but also drove and added up a bunch of milage.

they dont go by blue book, they go by "market value" and give you what other cars like yours are selling for around here, or at least thats what happened to me.....

 

dont just let them tell you what its worth, if they give you some BS value, tell em to shove it and get em proof of the higher value..........

 

i had to be a total asshole to my adjuster. the cocksucker tried telling me the scrapes on my bumper were old.

be stern as hell and dont take any bullshit. they are trained to save the company as much money as they can.

go in their knowing this and dont get taken in.

Odds are if you were in accident someone got a ticket. If the lady hit you, an she is at falt. Get yourself a lawyer and put your car in a Ford Dealership. They can fix it as long as you don't have any frame damage. An the lawyer will get you the money you are due to fix the car back operating condition. Don't let them bullly your ass arond. Get a lawyer. You will get your car fixed. I hope the person whom hit you at least had insurance? Full coverage and your stang will be back on the road. Just one more thing when you get a lawyer they take a thrid unless you pay them out of pocket. you can get an easy 10k out the insurance company. (5.0 should be about 10 years old). She (old women) hit a classic car. $$$$$$
