Lightbulb Quick fix for yellow headlights

Hey guys, Just a little FYI. Some of you may already know this but if you don't this is very informative

If you have yellowed headlights on your Mustang or other Ford there is a simple and easy way to clear it up.

1. Find some brake fluid.
2. Get a clean rag.
3. Pour the brake fluid on half of the rag.
4. Rub into the headlight in a circular motion.
5. dry with other side of rag or another clean rag.
6. Repeat if necessary.
7. Rinse and wax with plastic polish. Or just redo the cleaning about every three months or so.

That works alright, as well as Semichrome polish, but the real problem arises when the plastic begins to fade inside the headlight.

that's what happened to mine on my 93 - ended up buying a really clear used set on ebay for cheap.

And I agree with Mars...definately better to just buy new/repros from someone like Dugan Racing. My only "beef" is a mysterious metal part which came loose and rattle around in the front light on the Lemon Drop. Interestingly, the same thing happened on one of my headlights on the SVO. Exact same metal thingy. Can't get it out unless you separate the lense from the housing...so I'm just leaving it.
