i hope all those workers have found jobs. at least they saw it coming. thats a lot of ppl.

Yeah, me too. But it can be hard to find a job to replace one that pays $30 per hour for mounting radios in the dash. Sad.

Very nice post. IMO. I was also concerned with the workers loosing their jobs.

I heard the same guy that drove the first Mustang off the line was brought back to drive that one off, but the pic I saw was a green one.

When you think about the insane amounts of money top rankers at ford are making, is $25-$30 an hour that unreasonable? I think not.

That Nick Berg scandal is about the biggest joke I've ever seen .. half assed conspiracy theory. The argument I saw on the history channel about the conspiracy of whether we went to the moon or not was more convincing.

why do you think so many car manufacturers moved their assembly plants to places such as mexico?
the top rank individuals at Ford are in positions that demand more than 25-30 an hour.. someone performing a basic labor skill such as that doesn't (imo).
that's the thing about the "global" economy, someone is always willing to do it cheaper.. just take IT outsourcing for example..
