how much power does a stock 1987 lx 5.0 ho brings from the factory

I think the 87 (only) had a stiffer cam in it from the factory and comes with 230hp. I guess that some old ladies bitched and the cam got smaller and the 88 made 220.

I believe its aprox 225hp speed density beast!

Advertised HP was 225.
