The American Pony Drive II will be in our area Saturday, April 10th at approximately 11:00 a.m. as it makes its way up from Ft. Lauderdale. The caravan will be stopping at the rest stop south of the Skyway Bridge on I-275 in Palmetto. The caravan is scheduled for a 11:30 departure from the rest stop and drive (with police escort) across the Skyway, up through St. Pete on the interstate, across the Howard Franklin, then into Bill Currie Ford for a free bar-b-q and to meet up with other Mustangers. At approximately 3:00 p.m., the Pony Drive will then head off towards Orlando. Several area TV news teams will be covering this event.

I have to work but I would love to share this with you guys... There is going to be a lot of mustangs... And a police escort... This could be fun...

Come on. I know more people want to go look at Mustangs and partake in free BBQ.

 

I know... Plus there is going to be a police escort of stangs... From the south side of the bridge to the dealership... You know how many people would be staring at your car.....

 

I would love to go and check out some stangs, but I already have plans for tomorrow

 

Maybe I'll stop at B.C. and drag my dad out too...
