Hey everyone, I am looking for new tires for my '03 Cobra. I think I have decided on the Goodyear F1-GS-D3's. First question, are these actually good tires? Second, what is the cheapest you found them for the size you purchased? And third, What size should I go with? 275/40z-R 17 98Y VSB or... 275/35ZR18 95Y VSB. I know absolutely squat about tire sizes, what do you recommend and whatever other comments you see fit. Thanks.

295/35/18s ... will look sweet, and if your not going to run a drag radial your going to need all the tire you can get, but yes, f1's are an overall good tire.

 

first off do you have 17'' rims or 18''?

 

if they are 17'' which i presume go with the 275(width), 40(tire wall height), R17(rim size). if you get 35's they will wear quicker than the 40's!

you can fit nitto 315s on stock rim...i would ditch the goodyears, they are junk imo

 

EDIT: I'm assuming he has stock wheels ... so 17x9s ... I'd go with a 275 drag radial.

 

i just got NITTO 555R on a 275/40/17 size and they are awesome i think. they work really well but if i was you i would go with the 315/35/17. i would of gotten those but i dont think they would fit my car

 

i wish I got 315s now..I didnt like them on my WS6, but I have seen them on a Cobra and look good!
