Default Swaping EFI 5.0 to carb

Before anyone has a heart attack, this is going in a 68 Mustang w/AOD swap.

I have a 92 Tbird 5.0 that I am going to be removing the EFI from, and hopefully swapping to an Edelbrock Performer RPM Air Gap, but I have heard that the water passages were different on the late model blocks.

Has anyone here ever swapped the efi off a late model and ran an aftermarket carb intake? Did you have to change anything?

Scott,
Thanks for the 411, I knew I would need the Distributor, I have a mallory unilite out of my 289 (but need the steel gear), the linakge I will pull off the 289.

I am looking to do the edelbrock 5.0 heads/roller rockers a B303 and a holley 670 Street Avenger... You think that would play well with an AOD and a 4.11 rear? I am wondering if I need to swap the T/C out for a higher stall limit...

Since it has no provisions for fuel pumps I assume I could use a holley blue or something along those lines?

How much $$ I am dumping all the efi stuff I have, lower, upper fuel rail wiring, MAF and distributor. Its all off of a 92 Tbird, and has the intake that looks like the 94-95 5.0 Mustang...

I am looking for $200 for all of it....but everything is negotiable.

Dude I just did that swap, it was really no trouble at all except the distributor. I put a msd vaccum advance dist. on and had a lot of trouble with timing and alignment
