Meh the ZX2 will work fine for what she will probably use it for. Great commuter car, has some zip to it and handles pretty damn good. Gotta love the gas mileage, hehe just filled up again after 2 weeks of driving to work and home.

Reliable cars also, hell I have 86K miles on mine since 2000 and have NEVER had a problem beyond regular maintenance.

Oh and Eilrig, if your interested I have an Iceman intake, almost brand new I need to get rid of. $90 if you want it....

The Cooper S is a nice car, but I think I too would rather have a ZX2 or ZX3. I started researching those cars when my father purchased one a year ago. Quite a few owners expressed issues with build quality and reliability...something I would not tolerate for a $20k+ price tag on a car the size of a Geo Metro.

It was a pretty fun car to drive though. Handled like a little go-kart and had enough "zip" to keep me interested. My only problem was my big foot would hit the brake pedal when I accelerated off the line. The pedals were placed WAAAAY too close on that car for anyone who has large feet.

Who cares about the cam sensor. She needs a big wing. A reallly big wing... like a double decker. Make that bish look like biplane. Heck.. make it a triple decker....
