I have too also.
It sucks because the drivers side back bolt is directly under the header tube and against the firewall. I have one wrench that I heated up and bent at almost a 90 degree angle just to get to it. And thats after your practically laying in the engine compartment to get to it. I've lost count how many times I've had to change header gaskets.

One thing I've used is the washers by mr. gasket. There not locking washers just plain black thick ones. They work for me. They used to come loose alot more often than they do now.

one time I went to check how tight they were and the rear right bolt was completely gone, ... I'm glad I had extra ones from my old headers.

Those Grade 8 locking header bolts are quite effective. Sort of a pain to install, but effective none the less.

Sounds interesting, but it seems as though they aren't reusable?

I have to do that with my tranny bolts Need some new tranny mounts haha. Can definately be a harsh ride when I'm shifting you hear a hard clunk every time i hit a gear hard I've never had to retighten my header bolts after I torqued them down to spec. I used some thread compound for heads though.
