Default 5.0 MOTOR question....

i was under the impression the 5.0s last year was 1995....but my truck is a 2000, and it has a 5.0..and it looks almost the same as the earlier 5.0s cept with a different "5.0 V8" plate on the manifold.....whats the deal?? whats the stock HP/TQ?

though for me, you'd have to change it to 10 inches, and you'd have to change inches to millimeters, and you'd have to change 10 to 5 and you'd have to change dick to poor excuse for one.

The last year for the 5.0 in a mustang was in 95, but they still put them in trucks til 2000 i think, they have different heads, cam, and manifolds.

this guy came up to me the other day and asked if I had a stock 5.0, maybe Ford has been Lying!!! bastards!!!

that nonsense aside, the 95 was the last year in the Stangs and they still made the 5.0 in the exploreres and mountaineers with some slightly different stuff, hp/ tq isnt much off though

Yea, they still offered the 5.0 in the trucks up to 2000... that I know of! As a matter of fact, I have a 2000 Mountaineer bottom end in my coupe.
