Question Cleaning Fuel Rail

My fuel rail just arived at the office today. It had been sitting for quite a while unused, and there seems to be a little surface rust on the inside of the rail. What is the easiest, best, and quickest way to clean this out myself? I'm concerned about particles dislodging and screwing up my brand new $600 injectors.

I appreciate the help.

if you go to homedepot you should be able to get a file the same size as a pen that might fit in there

Go to Home depot or lowes and get the flexable wire brushes that the plummers use for cleaning out the inside of pipes. I think they are about 3 bucks.

How the hell did you spend 600 dollars on injectors?!? I'm damn curious to hear this because you can get low impedence injctors up to 108pd for like 350 a set.

Carb cleaner seemed to do the trick.

Plazma. $600 for NOS Ford injectors. I looked everywhere on the Internet, asked a few SVO people, and couldn't find any low impedance injectors...nor any used ones. I was in a relative time crunch since my injectors were spraying gas all over the intake manifold, so I took it like a man and went to Brandon Ford.

What size injectors did you need?

Do you own a Torch Red FRC and tremble every time you drive under I75 on Hwy 60 and look in your rearview mirror? If so you are suffering from what is known as Cobraphobia.

35lb injectors. I could upgrade to 42's with no problems, but I couldn't find those in a low impedance either.
